    sprinklefingers:

i’ll admit it. prior to steeping myself in the world of southern biscuits, i was completely against self-rising flour.

even after reading the southern biscuits chapter devoted to self-rising flour i didn’t believe i had any use for the stuff. even after remembering that my sister’s…

DIY wedding favors project strike-anywhere match jars

This is super simple, but one of those obvious things that makes me slap my forehead and go, “duh!” I have been annoyed by the ugliness of keeping matchboxes around vs the pain of keeping them somewhere hidden and retrieving them all the time. You could do something like this with taller jars and fireplace matches, too!

I love fresh flowers but since I can’t grow them, or justify buying them, here is a great way to make beautiful paper flowers.  Martha Stewart shows exactly how to make each of these flowers.  Can’t wait to put some in my vases!

Striped Bodycon Skirt | C&C
I’m not into tight skirts - I like to have something that swishes around me as I walk, a good ‘twirly’ skirt - but I still love this! C&C made this by cutting up two tops then sewing them together alternatively. By using the already hemmed sections of the tees, you avoid having to hem - woo! Hemming is my hell. A great way to reuse those tops that you no longer wear but love the colour of!

Lack Coffee Table Makeover | IKEA Hackers
The Lack coffee table from IKEA is so cheap and classic, it’s not surprising that everyone seems to have one in their house! But um… sometimes it can look as cheap as it cost. This is one of the best makeovers I’ve ever seen, and something I really want to try on my own coffee table - though it’s not a Lack! Those studs are so cool with the wallpaper - super classy!
